History and Mission Southern Environmental Testing, a full-service testing laboratory conveniently located in the industrial park of Florence, Alabama, offers a wide range of chemical and physical testing services to industry, governmental agencies, and engineering professionals. Although the core business of the company is environmental testing for regulatory compliance, Southern Environmental Testing also provides chemical process monitoring and troubleshooting, product identification, and the analysis of non-routing matrices. Client Service We offer personalized service; rapid analysis of samples coupled with accurate data reporting is the primary goal of Southern Testing. The laboratory supplies pre-cleaned, labeled sample containers with appropriate preservatives. In order to simplify field sampling, preprinted chain of custody records for individual sampling events can be prepared. Laboratory personnel are available seven days a week to receive samples.

Data Quality Quality assurance guidelines in the laboratory conform to all federal and state standards. A computerized laboratory information managment system compiles reports as soon as testing work is completed. Laboratory reports are presented in a well-organized, comprehensive format that meets all state and federal guidelines for data reporting. The laboratory routinely participates in the USEPA spnsored DMRQA study and results are available upon request.
